Rion is a first generation Japanese Korean hairstylist and founder of Oishi Studio. She grew up in Los Angeles and holds a degree in Psychology with a focus in art therapy. Rion’s passion for creative expression translates into her work as a hairstylist, where she helps clients feel confident and empowered. Her background in psychology also allows her to connect with clients on a personal level. After gaining experience in Rome, completing an apprenticeship, and working in an established salon for 7 years, Rion has opened up her own space. Her specialities include natural, seamless balayages, finely sectioned foil work, and layered haircuts. During her free time, Rion enjoys surfing, visiting art museums, listening to live music, traveling and spending time in nature.
